Chamchijeon - Korean tuna meatballs

Simple, fast and delicious.

Preparation steps

  • This recipe is for 150g of tuna. If you buy a larger can then double all the ingredients. From one can you will get about 6 halves.
  • Squeeze all the liquid out of the tuna. Put the tuna in a bowl and add all the ingredients. Finely chopped garlic and onion, diced paprika, flour, sesame oil, salt and pepper. Stir well.
  • Add sunflower oil to the pan to cover the bottom, take out the tuna mixture with a spoon and put in the oven. Press a little to get flat heels. Bake each side for about 3-4 minutes to get a golden brown color. When done put on a paper towel to soak up the oil.
