Caramel by rudolf van veen

When my daughter once watched Rudolf with me, this cake caught her eye. She bored me until I found it, translated it and made it. And I did not repent. The cake is refined, a real calorie bomb.

Preparation steps

  • Melt the margarine in the oven. Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and oatmeal together and pour melted margarine into it and knead the dough.
  • Cut the dough in half. Store one half in the refrigerator and put the other in a round mold as a base and bake in the oven for 10 minutes. Be sure to put baking paper on the bottom.
  • While the dough is baking, put the sweet cream and caramel in a bowl and heat everything together and melt on the flame until the caramels are completely melted.
  • Once the dough is baked, take it out of the oven, put the chocolate on it, which we cut into small cubes and pour a mixture of melted caramel and sweet cream over everything.
  • Crumble the remaining dough that was in the fridge and sprinkle with cream.
  • Put everything together in the oven for another 20 minutes in the oven at 180 degrees.
