Cannelloni with mascarpone sauce
Stuffing with five types of cheese and mascarpone and parmesan sauce will not leave anyone indifferent
Preparation steps
- Add salt and pepper to taste and beat the eggs. In them, mash fresh cheese and mascarpone, then add chopped or grated feta, gorgonzola, parmesan and ham.
- With this mixture we patiently fill the cannelloni which we place in a fireproof dish or a sheet coated with butter.
- For the sauce, mix the mascarpone, egg yolk, crumbled butter, parmesan and spices into the warm milk, then cook over low heat until the sauce becomes compact.
- Pour the sauce over the cannelloni and bake for 20 minutes in an oven preheated to 180.
- Instead of feta and parmesan, we can add pizza cheese to fresh cheese, and instead of smoked cooked ham, prosciutto, bacon or pizza ham. Also, instead of cannelloni, we can use macaroni or spaghetti, which, of course, we will not fill, but half-cooked, just mix with the cheese mixture and pour over the mascarpone sauce.
