Bulgur with salcasi

I tried Bulgur with my husband's sister (she uses Turkish cuisine a lot), it's a good side dish, very tasty and great for a change ... I've been making it often ever since;) the locals really like it!

Preparation steps

  • In a pan, sauté the red onion, finely diced, add the washed and drained bulgur, stir and add 2 cups of boiled water. Cook for about 20 minutes on a low heat. Add salt and salcasi. Cover and simmer until it absorbs water, stirring occasionally. If necessary, add more boiled water.
  • Serve Buglur as a side dish ... It is convenient to leave it in the refrigerator and use the next day (you can reheat it in the microwave) it remains just as tasty.
