Bulgur by ja :)
Bulgur is pure wheat freed from its shell. It bears the exact name Turkish bulgur and its origin is:) It is prepared as rice or steamed. Simple and fast! Here is a quick recipe :)
Preparation steps
- Wash the bulgur and put it in a deeper bowl. Boil for 10m and drain the water.
- In a separate bowl put olive oil, onion and tomato. Saute and add finely chopped onion and boiled bulgur. Add one small cup of warm water. Add salt, vegeta, pepper and parsley.
- Remove and serve warm.
Serving
Bulgur is served as rice, so you can prepare any meat or sausages with it. It is very good with a salad :)
