Bula Torta

Chocolate, creamy, unique cake. I came across this recipe by chance in the book "Cakes" and I enthusiastically share it with you.

Preparation steps

  • Dough: Whisk the egg whites, then the sugar and then add the walnuts and cocoa to the well-whipped. From this mixture you should get 3 crusts or stir one by one and bake or whisk everything together and then divide into 3 parts. Bake at 180 degrees for about half an hour. As a rule you should cut each crust one more time to get 6 crusts but, I left there to be 3 crusts.
  • Filling 1: Stir in egg yolks, powdered sugar, flour and vanilla sugar. Add this mixture to boiling milk and cook until it thickens. When cool, add whipped butter to this mixture.
  • Phil 2: Steam 10 egg yolks, powdered sugar and chocolate, stirring constantly. Remove the thickened mixture from the heat, and when it cools, add the whipped butter to the mixture.
  • Fill each crust with both fillings. Best: Bark - Fil 2 - Fil 1- Bark - Fil 2 - Fil 1 - Bark - Fil 2 - Fil 1 mixed. Whipped cream on top.
