Breaded elderflowers with mozzarella
I haven't fried in deep oil for a long time. I somehow transfer everything to the oven, it’s a lot better, at least to me, since I can’t consume the fat from frying. So I breaded elderflower flowers in the oven with the addition of mozzarella. Oh, it was great!
Preparation steps
- For starters - pick elder flowers in sunny weather, not after rain. Elderberry lovers already know this well!
- Put milk in a bowl, beat the egg, add salt and pepper, flour and baking powder.
- Dip elderflower flowers into the prepared mixture, holding them by the stalk and arrange them on a baking tray with a little greased oil.
- When you have arranged all the flowers, cut the stems with vegetable scissors.
- Add the mozzarella pieces and put in the oven at 250 ° C for 10 + minutes, until slightly yellow and the cheese melts.
Serving
Remove from the oven and serve warm with steamed vegetables. Sprinkle with chopped chives. Tomato salad is also good! Good apetite!
