Brazilian steak
A special piece of beef, cut from the lumbar spine ... It is called picanha and weighs 1-1.5 kg ... It is grilled. It is important that the whole piece is grilled, to preserve the juices and to be soft.
Preparation steps
- Salt the "pikanju" with sea salt to taste. Put the WHOLE piece of meat on the grill and bake on both sides.
- Remove from the grill and cut the meat into thick steaks (1-2 cm) on a board.
- Return to the grill and briefly roast each steak.
- Serve hot with a side dish of your choice.
