Bosnian buns
I know that there are a lot of recipes on the topic of buns, but this recipe should not be neglected, which will delight even a very demanding taster :)
Preparation steps
- Put the yeast, secver and one tablespoon of flour in lukewarm water, stir a little and leave to rise.
- Sift the flour and add the yeast, milk and salt and knead a not too hard dough.
- Leave the dough to rise for about an hour.
- Transfer to a work surface and make 7 balls out of the dough, which we make into smooth and round balls, cover them with a cloth and let them rest for ten minutes.
- We separate the balls into buns with our palms and place them on a baking tray in which we just put baking paper.
- With the blunt part of the knife, make squares on the buns, coat with lukewarm water and cover with a damp cloth and once again dry over.
- Buns covered in this way should stand for at least half an hour.
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees and bake the buns on the other side of the grid (so it is better if the buns are closer to the top heater, they are better to leave and bake) Cover the baked buns with a cloth and leave for ten minutes to cool before cutting.
Serving
I baked two buns together in one baking dish. The buns are ready very quickly, they need about ten minutes to bake.
