Bombay Biryani masala

This wonderful Indian dish delighted me with its aroma and taste.

Preparation steps

  • Prepare the rice according to the instructions, or as the Indians do. Wash it and soak it for 20 minutes in water. Then cook it for only a few minutes. Cut the meat into cubes and marinate it for 30 minutes. in a little yogurt, lemon juice, two garlic cloves, a little fresh ginger and salt. (If you have to buy ginger-garlic paste then you don't have to add garlic and ginger), put a little of that paste.
  • Put oil in a pot and fry diced onions and potatoes (also diced). Add diced tomatoes and mix spices bombay biryani masala (I will write you what is in that mix, which is not available to buy this ready-made mix) .Let it to simmer until the tomato softens, then add the meat and water (not all 500 ml at once, but to cover only the meat, add water as needed during cooking if it evaporates a lot).
  • Cover with a lid and cook for about 20 minutes. Serve the rice on a plate first and then distribute the sauce with the meat. Sprinkle with fresh coriander if desired. APPENDIX: If you have nowhere to buy this mix that I painted for you as you can see, then add these spices to the dish: salt, coriander, chili, black peppercorns, some cloves, curcuma, cardamom seeds, cumin and cumin seeds, nutmeg, garlic powder.

Serving

Serve this dish with yogurt.
