Bishop's bread
A traditional Christmas cake that has been used in our family on Christmas days for generations. This year we have modernized the recipe by adding cranberries, cashews and Brazil nuts, which of course are not in the original recipe.
Preparation steps
- Beat eggs with sugar. Add flour and nuts (grind 50g of each, and beat 50g).
- Chop the figs, plums and chocolate and add them to the mixture together with the raisins and cranberries.
- Bake for about 30 minutes at 180 ° C in a preheated oven.
Serving
When baked, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
