The recipe was taken from HRT's show Slatka kuharica.

Preparation steps

  • Combine all dry ingredients. Beat the egg whites a little with a fork (until foamy). Melt the chocolate (I used plain cooking chocolate).
  • Stir the egg whites and then the melted chocolate into the dry ingredients. The mixture is pliable enough that it can be mixed with a spoon, it does not stick to the wall of the bowl.
  • Transfer the mixture to baking paper and cover it with it and roll it out (over baking paper). Sprinkle with sugar on both sides and cut out the desired shapes. Allow them to dry for 3 hours at room temperature.
