Baked sataras

For all those who do not like sataras and peppers :) At my threat, at least it is understood that I make sataras for dinner, my husband quickly intervened and found this recipe on the net, to avoid another torture with peppers that he does not like :) He really liked the dish, and I especially :) Enjoy!

Preparation steps

  • Sprinkle the chopped onion in a little oil, then add the peppers chopped into popcorn. Simmer for 3-4 minutes, then add the zucchini cubes. Continue to simmer for another 3 minutes, then add the diced tomatoes as well. Season with a small teaspoon of sugar, salt and pepper. Finally add the garlic, savory and dill. You can also use basil and parsley if you don’t have these spices.
  • Cook the rice. Arrange a row of sataras in a baking dish, then a row of rice and sprinkle with grated gouda. Repeat one more row of everything.
  • Sprinkle the prepared sataras with gouda and parmesan, then bake for 15-20 minutes at 200C, or until the cheese melts and takes on a golden color.
  • You can serve the dish without additional side dishes, because it is a complete meal
