Avocado and dark chocolate pralines

If you are looking for something fine, but not too high in calories, simple and fast - this is for you! I’m not really an avocado fan by the way, but I just adore these pralines!

Preparation steps

  • Peel an avocado - it's easiest to cut it in half, remove the stone and scoop out with a spoon. Mash the avocado with a fork until smooth.
  • Melt the chocolate and melt it, add the avocado together with the vanilla aroma. If you want, you can add a handful of chopped roasted hazelnuts. It’s not a tragedy if you add a little less or a little more chocolate, I don’t even count but put it off. Make it a little less chocolate than avocado.
  • Stir, preferably with a whisk, until you get a uniform mixture.
  • Refrigerate for about 20 minutes, until the mixture hardens slightly, to be suitable for shaping.
  • Take the mixture with a spoon, shape it into a ball in your hand and roll it in cocoa powder or coconut. Return to the refrigerator to squeeze. A little tip: use plain latex gloves for this, as your hands will be full of chocolate. And it also helps the ball to melt a little slower.

Serving

Keep refrigerated until serving, serve in baskets.
