Arabic chicken risotto in tomato sauce
Baharat is a relatively unknown spice in our country, so we present it to you in the form of a somewhat unusual way of preparing chicken risotto.
Preparation steps
- Season the diced chicken with salt and sprinkle with turmeric.
- Saute the onion in a wok over low heat for 5 minutes, then add the chicken and sauté for another 15 minutes.
- Add chopped tomatoes, allspice, vegetable stock and grated lime.
- Cook covered over low heat for 30 minutes.
- Add the rice and cook for another 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
