Amaretti d'Italia
Italian popular delicacies like this, collected in a brochure of Matilda’s recipes, are a real revelation and refreshment for me and my family. Maybe you like them too, here is the first one from that collection :-)
Preparation steps
- Whisk the eggs and sugar until they become a translucent and light cream. Crush the amaretto biscuits in a bowl with the beaten eggs.
- Whisk in the sweet sour cream and then combine it with the eggs and amaretto biscuits. Mix everything together and pour into a mold lined with self-adhesive foil. Put the mold in the freezer at least 7 hours before consumption.
- Turn the mold over on a tray, remove the foil and coat the whole treat with extra amaretto biscuits. You can decorate the dessert with melted chocolate.
Serving
You can add grated chocolate or chocolate chips (drops) to the treat.
