Almond sticks

Recorded in my tekke back in the 80's .... but only now did they see the light of day ...

Preparation steps

  • From all the ingredients, knead the dough and leave it in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  • Beat the bleach with a fork. Grind the almonds.
  • Make about 50 balls from the dough and roll each one between your palms to get a small stick, dip each stick in the beaten egg white and then roll it in the ground almonds.
  • Arrange them in a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake lightly for about 20 minutes, they must not darken.
