Acacia juice syrup

Acacia is harvested before the flowers have fully opened, so they have the best smell and aroma in the buds, a refreshing drink for summer days :)

Preparation steps

  • Remove the acacia flowers from the bunches. Pour cold water and add citric acid. Stir gently. Leave to stand for 24 hours, stirring occasionally. Strain, add sugar and cook while stirring. Pour into sterilized bottles and store in a cool, dark place. with water and, if desired, add slices of fruit and mint. You can also add brandy to taste to the syrup and thus get a herbal acacia liqueur.
