Abbracci

Abbracci in Italian means hugs; so called these crispy biscuits where they hugged the dark part with cocoa and the light part with cream.

Preparation steps

  • Put flour, sugar, baking powder, thickener, vanilla, egg and butter in a bowl at room temperature. Add 5 tablespoons of cream and knead a smooth dough with your hands.
  • Divide the dough into two equal parts. In one part, add three tablespoons of cocoa and a tablespoon of sour cream and equalize nicely. Leave both halves in the fridge for at least half an hour.
  • Take out the dough and shape the biscuits by making a letter C from both parts and joining them in an embrace. Namely, place one end of the white dough over the end of the black and the other end of the white dough under the end of the black dough. Take a look at the picture and it will be clearer to you.
  • Arrange the biscuits made in this way on a baking tray lined with baking paper and bake at 180 ° C for about 10 minutes.

Serving

My kids love them very much because they are beautiful to see and they are very tasty and easy to make. They go great with tea or milk.
