A mole with strawberries
The recipe is from Cica kuvarica, with small changes. Simple, fast and delicious. My contribution to the strawberry season :)
Preparation steps
- Whisk the egg whites firmly. Whisk the butter with the sugar, vanilla sugar and egg yolks. Lightly add a mixture of flour, baking powder, cocoa and grated chocolate. Add egg whites and mix lightly. Pour into a 22 cm diameter pan and bake for about half an hour at 180 degrees.
- When the crust has cooled, carefully dig out the middle. Crush the hollowed part.
- Arrange the strawberries in the recess in the cake. Whip the vanilla whipped cream and apply it dome-shaped over the strawberries and cover with crumbs of hollowed-out crust to make the cake look like a mole. Instead of whipped cream, you can also use plain whipped cream or whipped cream, as you like. You can also use some of your favorite cream for the cake.
- Garnish with strawberries and refrigerate for at least an hour.
