A ball of cake
I love the combination of orange, semolina and hazelnut, so this fantastic, light cake that I made for Luka's birthday was created ....
Preparation steps
- Beat eggs well with sugar + vanilla sugar mixer, then add ground hazelnuts, flour and baking powder and mix slowly with a spoon. Bake the biscuit at 190 c for about 20 minutes.
- For the balls, put milk and sugar in a bowl and stir to melt the sugar, then add chocolate, butter, biscuits (most ground and a small part broken), hazelnuts and orange peel. Mix everything nicely and after the mixture cools, shape 28 ball.
- For the cream, put 600ml of milk, 12 teaspoons of sugar, juice and orange peel in one bowl and cook the pudding in the usual way and leave to cool. In another bowl, also put another 600 ml of milk and 6 teaspoons of sugar, then after it boils, add 10 teaspoons of wheat semolina and cook for 2 minutes, then remove from the side to cool. Now whisk the butter well and mix everything together.
- Divide the crust in half, put one layer of cream, and now put the balls on top (in 4 rows of 4 balls), then put the filling again, then the other half of the crust, a little cream on top, and at the very end coat everything with pre-whipped cream.
