Preparation steps

  • first prepare sugar syrup (agda, sherbet) in a large bowl put water, lemon cut into rings, sugar, vanilla sugar, cinnamon stick, cloves, if you like and cook for 5 minutes. remove the aromatic additives, cool slightly and add 1-2 tablespoons of honey , mix everything and leave until use.
  • in another large pan, heat the oil, grind lightly, stir with a wooden spoon, be careful not to darken, add sesame and almonds, then continue to fry until you get a nice brown color, remove from the heat and carefully pour the sugar syrup, return to the heat , reduce the temperature, then cook and mix with a whisk.
  • the mixture must be compact, lubricating, without lumps, cook for 5-6 minutes. Pour the finished halva into moistened bowls and sprinkle with ground cinnamon to taste.

Serving

everything is measured with a glass = 150ml., so it has this name = (1) a glass of oil, (2) glasses of semolina, (3) glasses of sugar, (4) glasses of water
